This white wine by Andi Weigand beautifully combines four traditional varieties, which are four symbols of Franconian viticulture. Fermented in both old and new oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, it is then aged in wood, resulting in a wine that is intriguing, complex, and lively on the palate. A must-try!

White Landwein main 2019 Weigand
No temperature control is applied. The wine is organic and biodynamic. It is a blend of four typical varieties from the region: Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Silvaner, and Scheurebe, sourced from vineyards aged between 30 to 60 years. The fermentation takes place in old and new oak barrels using indigenous yeasts without any temperature control. This balanced and juicy blend showcases each variety in an equilibrium based on freshness, expressed on the nose through lively citrus and vegetal notes with an underlying rocky minerality. The palate is dynamic and vibrant, fresh in acidity and long on salinity.
