The Vermentino "Numero Chiuso" from the Ligurian winery Lunae Bosoni is a white wine of absolute excellence, rightfully placed among the best labels in national production. The Vermentino "Numero Chiuso" is a wine that captivates for its quality and perfect expression of the finest characteristics of the grape variety. The Bosoni family has been cultivating vineyards for 5 generations in the hilly area at the border between Liguria and Tuscany, producing wines with an authentic profile, a true reflection of the terroir. This ancient variety, which loves the sun and wind, has found the perfect conditions in the Colli di Luni region to produce outstanding wines. When favorable climate is combined with the expertise of a renowned winery like Lunae Bosoni, committed to enhancing the Lunigiana’s grape varieties and territory, the result is a prestigious wine that rivals the most famous whites of our peninsula. The "Numero Chiuso" Vermentino from Lunae Bosoni is an extraordinary white wine that comes from the Colli di Luni region. The beautiful sunny exposures, constantly breezy and blessed by the mild climate of this corner of Liguria, provide intensely aromatic and well-balanced grapes. At the end of the harvest, the finest bunches undergo a 48-hour cold maceration before being gently pressed. The free-run must ferments in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 14 months in stainless steel and an additional 14 months in large oak barrels before being bottled. In the glass, it displays a golden color with bright, luminous highlights. The nose is intense and elegant, with fragrant aromas of yellow fruit, aromatic Mediterranean herbs, tropical and floral hints, and an iodized background. The palate is complex and deep, satisfying and saline, leading to a refreshing finish.
