Nebbiolo d’Alba is made from the Nebbiolo grape variety, sourced from the left side of the Tanaro River. It is marketed after one year of aging.
It displays a ruby red color, more or less intense, which with aging shifts to garnet. It has a delicate aroma reminiscent of violets.

Pure Nebbiolo with great character, a classic Piedmont red with the typical aromas and flavors of this native variety. Good value for money. An excellent base Nebbiolo; classic color, ethereal and red fruit on the nose. Fresh with the right tannins that leave the mouth pleasantly clean. Recommended pairings for this Nebbiolo d'Alba DOCG red wine: Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC Fratelli Giacosa pairs wonderfully with braised beef; beef shank with roasted new potatoes; vegetable stew; legumes; a board of aged cheeses. Uncork Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC Fratelli Giacosa and decant an hour before serving at 16-18°C in a large Ballon glass. From 1991 to 2003, there was an increase in vineyard ownership in the native wine zones of the Langhe. In the localities of: Bussia and San Pietro in Monforte d'Alba, and the Vigna Mandorlo in Castiglio.
