Nebbiolo 2021 Demeter Rivetto

Rivetto's Nebbiolo is the most typical and traditional expression of the great reds from the Langhe. It is the perfect wine to enjoy when looking for an excellent Nebbiolo that is less demanding than the noble Barolo and Barbaresco. It is produced with an exclusive vinification in steel, preserving the varietal aromas of the grape and enhancing its young and lively profile. This red wine captivates with the fragrance of small red fruit aromas, refined floral nuances, and a fresh, easy, and smooth sip. This Nebbiolo is crafted in the Serralunga d’Alba area, at the heart of the Langhe. In the cradle of great Barolos, the Rivetto winery manages a family-run estate of approximately 16 hectares, planted with the typical varieties of the region. The Nebbiolo vineyards are located at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level and are cultivated alongside fruit trees and vegetable fields to create natural environmental biodiversity. The cool, sunny climate and calcareous-clay marl soils are highly suited for Nebbiolo, producing wines of great personality and character in this area. The meticulous attention given to vineyard work is followed by minimal intervention vinification and aging processes, always aiming to highlight and enhance the varietal character of Nebbiolo and the Langhe terroir.
