Champagne Brut Nature 'Clos du Château de Bligny' 6 Cépages by Château de Bligny is the latest exception in Champagne, created in 2004 by the Rapeneau Family: the only Clos as a Château in Champagne featuring the 6 grape varieties authorized by the appellation: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, along with the forgotten Arbane, Pinot Blanc, and Petit Meslier. Arbane is an ancient native grape from Aube, known for its liveliness. Pinot Blanc gives a clear and bright wine. Finally, Petit Meslier, an ancient Champagne grape variety, reveals aromas of lime and violet. This wine originates in the Côte des Bar, in the village of Bligny in Aube. Bright and powerful, it is tonic on the palate and displays a distinct sap directing the finish towards appetizing bitters. Only 7,160 bottles produced.
