Barolo Tettimorra 2019 Magnum Scarpa
The Barolo 2019 Magnum by Scarpa originates in the La Morra area, from the eponymous vineyard, with Nebbiolo grapes grown at 300 meters above sea level from vines that are about 35 years old. The winemaking process involves a 23-day maceration on the skins in 54 HL wooden vats, with two manual pumpovers per day. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is racked into stainless steel tanks until the malolactic fermentation is complete. It is then aged in 45 HL French oak barrels from Allier for 29 months. After bottling, the wine rests for 6 months before being released for sale.

It has a broad-structured body with a firm tannin, refined and elegant, supported by good freshness.
Aroma
Delicate notes of violet and sweet licorice, with hints of red fruits, and red plum. The finish features balsamic notes, tobacco, and underbrush.
