Barolo Cerretta 2020 DOCG Giovanni Rosso

The wines of Giovanni Rosso are among the best interpreters of the extraordinary terroir of Serralunga d'Alba. For over a century, he has cultivated an estate with a valuable vineyard park, located in the famous crus: Cerretta, La Serra, Broglio, Meriame, Sorano, Costabella, Lirano, and Damiano. The Barolo Ceretta was born in the early 1990s to enhance the characteristics of a plot particularly suited for its microclimate and soil composition. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, with maceration on the skins for about a month. As tradition dictates, the wine matures for 24-36 months in large French oak barrels.
